Abstract Submission

GUIDELINE FOR PAPER SUBMISSION

 

1. Complete the paper submission form with all the information (author, presenter, co-author and affiliations). Changes in content and names of authors and co-authors will not be allowed after the paper is accepted.

​

2. Applicants must be registered for the Meeting before paper submission.

​

3. Everyone, who is registered to the Meeting can submit their papers, but only FLAMeCiPP members can run for the best oral free paper (“ IFFAS Prize “).

​

4. Abstract (s) must be submitted online only at our website (xxxxx).

​

5. Please choose abstract category. If you have selected oral presentation and your paper was not accepted in this category it can be presented as an e-poster, as long as the author agrees.

 

6. The abstracts and the full papers submitted will be forwarded to the Scientific Commission for the approval. All papers will be handed to the Scientific Commission without any identification.

 

7. The accepted papers will be presented in the oral free paper session and will be running for the best oral free paper of the Meeting.

 

8. The papers/e-posters can be submitted in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

9. Only papers submitted with the established criteria can be presented and run for the prize.

 

10. The Scientific Commission has the right to dismiss papers that do not follow the established criteria.

 

11. The information of the author responsible for the paper (address, affiliations, e-mail, Whatsapp/ Hangout) should be filled and it must be a valid e-mail and cellular phone number, since all communication will me made through it.

12. All correspondence regarding acceptance or rejection, including further information on the mode of presentation etc. will be sent to the presenting author. 

​

13. The names of the authors or affiliation cannot be in the abstract. Also there cannot be any identification in the full paper file submitted as oral presentation.

​

14. There is no limitation for the number of authors per paper and for the number of papers per author.

​

15. All papers will be handed to at least 2 members of the Scientific Commission. If there is a significant discrepancy between the evaluations a third member will be participating in the decision.

​

16. The approved papers will be available in our website on July 10th 2018 and the result will be informed through e-mail, Whatsapp/ Hangout provided by the author for paper submission.

​

17. The submitter accepts responsibility for the accuracy and scientific content of the submitted abstract (please proofread the abstract carefully prior to submission!).

​

18.The submitter confirms that all co-authors are aware of and agree to the content of the abstract and support the data presented. Furthermore, the submitter will be responsible for obtaining, and, upon request, providing proof that all authors have given permission for the submission of the abstract and agree to its content.

​

19.The submitter confirms that the submitted abstract is an original paper and has not been published or presented at any Orthopaedic Meeting prior September 2018.

​

20. Any financial interest in products or processes described in the abstract needs to be identified. The submitter is requested to tick the “Conflict of interest” box when submitting the abstract and to provide disclosure of interests and relationships through the abstract submission programme for each author.

​

21. The submitter confirms that copyright permissions for all third-party material (including without limitation textual extracts or illustrations, photographs, maps, diagrams and tables) have been obtained.

ORAL FREE PAPER

​
 

1. The abstract must include: introduction, material and method, results, discussion and conclusion. The abstract must be limited to 250 words, including title, font size 12, Arial and 1.5 spacing.

​

2. Graphics and images will not be accepted in the abstracts.

 

3. After the paper is accepted, the authors should attach a PDF file with the full paper, according to the criteria established by Revista Tobillo y Pie (www.flamecipp.org).

 

4. Maximum size: 5 MB.

 

5. It can contain graphics, images and videos.

 

6. The presentation time cannot exceed 4 minutes, there will be a timer on the screen, so that the presenter can manage time. The secretary has the responsibility to interrupt the presentation when this time is exceeded, or if there is any content modification in the paper.

 

7. All papers should be presented in multimedia.

 

8. It will be provided a certificate with the names of all authors and a certificate for the presenter.

 

9. The awarded paper will receive a certificate of the best free paper and the IFFAS Prize.

​

 

E-POSTER

​

1. The abstract must include: introduction, material and method, results, discussion and conclusion. The abstract must be limited to 250 words, including title, font size 12, Arial and 1.5 spacing.

 

2. Graphics and images will not be accepted in the abstracts.

 

3. After the E-poster is accepted by the Scientific Commission, it should be submitted as Power Point presentation, self- explanatory, slide show with no transition and a duration from 3 to 5 minutes with no more than 10 slides.

 

4. Maximum size: 5MB.

 

5. It is allowed videos or a recorded presentation, maximum 5 minutes.

 

6. The accepted e-poster will be available in digital format. The best e-poster will be awarded.

 

7. The awarded paper will receive a certificate of the best E-poster.
